Jay and Kelly raise money for the British Legion Thanks to our trainers Jay Banks and Kelly Reed-Banks for helping raise over £1500 for the British Legion with their Burlesque Fitness evening. Well done guys!

 

David Bainsfair Congratulations to David Bainsfair who won 1st place at the Inter Colleges Work Skills Gym Instructor competition at Norwich City College. Lori Randall Director of Business at CYQ – the awarding body was there to present the trophy.

David completed his Level 2 Fitness Instructor course with Fitness Qualifications in the Summer holidays and progressed onto the Level 3 Personal Trainer course here at the College. He worked hard throughout the competition to set a good lead and went on to win. Another nationally outstanding student representing Fitness Qualifications.

The team was formed in 2007 and the team is currently managed by Andy Blackmore with the support of Jody Smith who is the Assistant Coach.The Boys currently play in the Cambridgeshire Mini Soccer League and we have been placed in the Division B for the 11/12 season.

I would like to also say a big thank you to Fitness Qualifications in continuing their sponsorship for the upcoming season. We have played ten league games and won seven - Keep it up Aztecs!

A Centre of Excellence (COE) is an enhanced coaching centre for U9, U11,U13, U15 & U17 age groups. Players gain access to the COE through a trial process organised and delivered by the local organisations such as County FAs, educational establishments, football club community programmes etc. Having played schools, grassroots, and possibly PDC football the next step of The FA girls’ talent pathway is a Centre of Excellence.
